InstaCareer ("we", "our", or "us") collects only the essential data necessary to deliver personalized career roadmaps, schedule 1-on-1 counselling consultations, process digital service receipts, and provide job tracking features:

• Account & Profile Details: Your name, email address, phone number, education background, and target career interests when you register or complete your profile.
• Counselling & Booking Data: Preferred session slots, career queries, academic notes, single-use room authentication tokens generated for your meeting, and booking lifecycle timestamps (e.g., date of payment, 7-day slot scheduling deadline, reminder notifications, and inactive status transitions).
• Transactional Notification Logs: Audit logs of reminders sent via email or displayed on your dashboard if a paid counselling consultation remains unscheduled within the 7-day scheduling window.
• Resume Builder Information: Work experience, education history, projects, and skills you input into the resume builder tool.
• Application Tracker Data: Jobs you mark as applied to help you organize your interview pipeline.
• Payment Metadata: Transaction reference IDs and receipt statuses. We do never store your credit/debit card numbers or UPI PINs; all payments are processed securely via PCI-DSS certified gateways (Razorpay).

We treat career consultations with strict psychological and professional confidentiality:

• Counselling rooms use ephemeral, cryptographically signed tokens that expire immediately after session conclusion.
• Meeting links are permanently revoked and scrubbed from our systems once a session concludes.
• Discussions, test results, and personal life circumstances shared during counselling are never sold, rented, or shared with third-party advertisers or educational institutions.

We utilize encrypted HTTP cookies and client-side secure storage strictly to authenticate your user session, maintain your theme preferences, and track your active draft roadmaps:

• Inactivity Auto-Logout: Sessions automatically expire after 7 days of inactivity while preserving your encrypted saved data for when you sign back in.
• We do not use invasive cross-site tracking cookies.

In accordance with applicable data privacy laws, you have full ownership over your personal information. You may at any time:

• View, edit, or update your profile from your User Dashboard.
• Download your ATS resumes in standard PDF format without lock-in.
• Request complete deletion of your account and associated records by writing to us.
